EA explains why FIFA 21 does not get a demo • Eurogamer.nl

There will be no FIFA 21 demo.

The announcement from developer Electronic Arts comes as a surprise, given that the FIFA series has traditionally been given a demo for years before release.

According to the company, that exceptional choice was made to give the development team more time and resources this year. The goal is to “deliver the best full gaming experience for both current and next-gen consoles”.

The fact that there are two additional, brand new consoles will undoubtedly pose a challenge to development. The COVID-19 pandemic only made things more difficult for development studios this year.

Despite the lack of demo, you can still try out FIFA 21 through EA Play. EA’s subscription service gives you pre-access to games, with a limited time limit.

EA Play has recently been available on Steam and is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass for PC later this year.

Of FIFA 21 release has been known for a while. You can play via EA Play from October 1.

Do you already know who the best FIFA 21 player is? And that this year FIFA Ultimate Team in co-op is playable?
