The 2023 program for drinking water works was approved during the last Portes de France Thionville urban council meeting. Investment credits were voted for €7.6 million. They concern work to renew the raw water supply pipe from the Entrange mining resource since leaving the mine (€860,000 excluding VAT), work to renew the raw water supply pipe from the Metzange mining resource (€630,000 excluding tax), network modification work, particularly at the junction of the Entrange and Manom resources (€46,000 excluding tax) and studies and diagnostics on the Ranguevaux-Morlange springs (50,000 € excl. tax).
Construction work on a treated water reservoir in Guentrange is also planned. These, amounting to €3.3 million excluding tax, are necessary to secure the quality and quantity of water distribution. The program also includes studies and work to strengthen networks, both for production and distribution tools.
