“€7.6 Million Investment Approved for Drinking Water Works in Portes de France Thionville’s 2023 Program”

The 2023 program for drinking water works was approved during the last Portes de France Thionville urban council meeting. Investment credits were voted for €7.6 million. They concern work to renew the raw water supply pipe from the Entrange mining resource since leaving the mine (€860,000 excluding VAT), work to renew the raw water supply pipe from the Metzange mining resource (€630,000 excluding tax), network modification work, particularly at the junction of the Entrange and Manom ​​resources (€46,000 excluding tax) and studies and diagnostics on the Ranguevaux-Morlange springs (50,000 € excl. tax).

Construction work on a treated water reservoir in Guentrange is also planned. These, amounting to €3.3 million excluding tax, are necessary to secure the quality and quantity of water distribution. The program also includes studies and work to strengthen networks, both for production and distribution tools.
