– It was not exactly what we expected to see on the road, Karoline Fagerelv (35) tells Dagbladet.
It is 1 April and Fagerelv and the family have been on a shopping trip to buy goods for the cabin trip.
The family of three drove on the E6 on their way back to the cabin at Skibotn, and along the road there were several signs warning of moose on the road.
Northern Lights mentioned the matter first.
Appeared after 12 years: – Completely shaking
Was notified
But the signs should perhaps have warned otherwise, it turns out.
In the oncoming lane, a large trailer came and drove very slowly, says Fagerelv.
– He rolled down the window and said that there was a bunch of pigs just beyond. We started grinning since it was April 1, because we thought it was an April Fool’s joke, she says.
They drove on, and when they had got a little further, however, it became clear that it was absolutely no joke.
– Just a kilometer further on, there were lots of pigs on the road, says Fagerelv.
Fear of “superpigs”
Jumped over the fence
The pigs ran between all the cars trying to navigate on the E6.
– There was a bit of a queue, says Fagerelv.
The pigs belonged to a nearby farm. To Northern Lights says the farmer on the farm that a total of 21 pigs managed to jump over a fence during feeding.
The farmer also says that they finally managed to bring in all the pigs. He does not wish to comment further on the matter.
Fagerelv says that they had a good laugh.
– We might expect to see a moose or a fox, but not pigs, says Fagerelv.
