Amid the flurry of ads for the new Xbox Series X and S, the presentation of the Microsoft at E3 2021 also brought some excellent news for PC gamers. The company showed a new trailer for Age of Empires 4 and revealed when the new chapter in the strategy series will arrive.
According to Microsoft, the game will be released on PCs on Oct. 28 and will be available on the platform to Xbox Game Pass subscribers, reinforcing the service’s appeal not only to consoles but also to computer gamers. In addition, it will also come to Steam.
The new trailer also showed a little more of its gameplay, detailing the final look of the game and some of the new features that it should introduce to the franchise. From what has been shown, there will be new combat and exploration mechanics, as well as new civilizations. For those in love with beautiful looks, Age of Empires 4 will have 4K resolution HDR.
