Lukas Schulz used to play chess as a schoolboy. The former Bavarian champion currently plays for SC Erlangen. However, he has remained loyal to his home club SC Höchstadt and works there as a youth coach. A revealing interview with Hannes Marb of Radio Darmstadt, who was also active as a hobby chess player with “Ladja Roßdorf”. Lukas provides grounded information on openings, game strengths, chess variants such as blitz chess and how he prepares for the Oberliga matchdays. An interview as a good move!
