Attention truck drivers! The e-Toll has not been working since the morning. The system of the National Revenue Administration does not charge tolls for driving on a given road section. This applies to all roads in Poland.
The system that reads the kilometers traveled from the application on smartphones does not workused by truck drivers.
Such an application must be launched while driving, and for several hours the applications have not been seen in the e-Toll system.
The application shuts down. The message is that there is no internet access. The lady on the hotline said that they knew about the failure and that their servers crashed. She said we should pay the toll through the website – the listener Jarosław, who called the RMF FM Hot Line, reported his problems.
KAS officials confirm that they have a failure. They claim that drivers can therefore go without paying a toll.
There will be no consequences on our part, the failure is on our side – assures Justyna Pasieczyńska, KAS spokesperson.
However, he cannot say how quickly the failure will be repaired.
