Malappuram | Metroman E Sreedharan said that he has not said that the K Rail project is not suitable for Kerala and will give instructions to the government to implement it with changes. Sreedharan responded to the media that the government will be given suggestions to implement the project in the underground and elevator method. His response came after a meeting with the state government’s special representative in Delhi, KV Thomas, at his house in Ponnani.
KV Thomas said after the meeting that Sreedharan agreed to prepare a note related to the railway development of Kerala. He said that he will discuss this with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The meeting held on Sunday afternoon lasted for more than an hour.
E Sreedharan had earlier criticized the K Rail project. E Sreedharan said that Kerala will split into two if the Silver Line becomes a reality.
