Berlin – Late on Friday evening at the intersection of Karl-Liebknecht-Strasse and Spandauer Strasse in Berlin-Mitte at around 11:20 p.m. there was a traffic accident between an e-scooter driver and a tram. As the fire brigade announced on Saturday, the e-scooter driver was hit by the tram and seriously injured.
The man first had to be cared for on site and then taken to a nearby hospital. The fire brigade removed the e-scooter that had got stuck under the tram in the accident. It has not yet been possible to provide information on the cause of the accident.
