Farewell to James Michael Tyler. Gunther’s interpreter in the historic sitcom Friends And died at 59 because of a prostate cancer. The death occurred today in Los Angeles. The actor had been fighting against the disease since 2018 and, only this year, on the Today Show he had told his experience with the aim of promoting prevention.
Born in Winona (Mississippi) on May 28, 1962, he made his film debut in 1992 but became famous in 1994, with the first season of Friends. Interpret the barista of Central Perk, the place where the six leading friends meet. The fil rouge of the entire series is his platonic love for Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), who works alongside her in the first few seasons. Last May he participated in connection with the Friends reunion.
