So far, Tilaks has published 16 books, both for adults and children. The publishers describe his latest novel “Kūlenis” as an intense and contemporary work for adult readers.
Latest books “Kūlenis” takes place in modern Latvia, its main characters are usually ordinary people, but the special plot is a series of adventures – so far unexpected discoveries enter the peaceful lives of the main characters Linard, Ance and Daila, followed by a real struggle for survival. Accidental and unforeseen events create a situation when nothing is and cannot be as it used to be – life rolls away, as we sometimes say.
