By decision of the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis, the “Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021-2027” Program is included in the “Open program to acquire professional/work experience for unemployed people aged 30 and over“, which will be run by DOUBLE.
The program emphasizes groups with abstinence from the labor market and groups particularly affected by unemployment”, with a total public expenditure of 220,000,000 euros.
The action concerns the placement of unemployed people in private companies that carry out economic activity throughout the country for the acquisition of professional/work experience.
Beneficiaries of the action are unemployed people, aged 30 and over, registered in the DYPA digital register, with an emphasis on the long-term unemployed (at least 24 months of registered unemployment), unemployed women, unemployed people affected by or at risk of poverty (Beneficiaries of Minimum Guaranteed Income) and middle-aged unemployed (45-64 years old). The duration of the action is 6 months.
The participants in the program are paid by DYPA a daily allowance of 32 euros, for 6 hours a day and a maximum of 22 days a month
What does the DYPA program offer?

The participants in the program, for the time of their participation in it, are subject to the insurance of the sickness branch in kind (medical coverage) of the e-EFKA and are insured for occupational risk. Providers of work experience placements (enterprises) are not compensated.
The action, which will remain open for applications until the budget is exhausted, is co-financed by the European Social Fund and the Beneficiary of the Program is the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
The program comes in addition to the one concerning 25,000 unemployed 18-29 year olds for their integration into the labor market and concerns private sector enterprises throughout the country. A necessary condition for the inclusion of a company in the program is that it has not reduced its staff during the three months prior to the submission of the electronic application on the DYPA electronic platform.
