Dynamo U-19 Beats Naters 2-1 in Youth Team Training Camp Sparring Match in Turkey

The Dynamo youth team held its first sparring at a training camp in Turkey. Igor Kostyuk’s team won a strong-willed victory over the representative of Switzerland “Naters” – 2:1.

The Kiev team missed the first goal and responded with two goals after the break. 16-year-old Vladimir Ozimai scored a double. Kostyuk step by step allows Ozimai to approach the youth team. I will write about this player in more detail in the fall. Ozimai is a central midfielder with good qualities who can progress to the first team. Vladimir scored his goals thanks to his football intelligence. He was in the right place at the right moment. Progress in recent months is obvious. In the spring it will already be a combat unit at the youth team level. Ozimay benefited from the fact that he was taken at such a young age in U-19.

It is also worth noting that right-back Alexey Rybak, who was also born in 2007, works with the youth team. This is a player who is called up to the Ukrainian national team of his age. A flanker of the modern type, who in the future should replace Alexey Gusev in the youth team.

The first half was played by the 2007 winger Bogdan Redushko. He was not included in the 2007 national team for Euro U-17 qualification, but he is still one of the candidates. A guy gifted with football talents who showed himself well at the U-17 team level. Therefore, he deservedly received a chance from Kostyuk. Bogdan needs to gain experience.

Pavel Lyusin went to the training camp. He is a footballer of the year 2008. Shows great promise. A very smart, creative central midfielder who knows how to sharpen and finish thanks to his own skill. Vladimir Yezersky not only called him up to the Ukrainian national team, born in 2007, but also put him in the main squad. Lyusin needs time to adapt to the Dynamo youth team and to understand the new requirements. It doesn’t spoil the porridge.

I didn’t really like the center of defense. Due to the absence of Taras Mikhavka, the pair Nazar Balaba and Egor Sizonyuk first played in the center of defense. These are the 2005 players. They even played together on the team of their age. There were plenty of failures in the center of defense in the first half. After the break, Balaba was paired with 2006 player Vladislav Zakharchenko. Last season he played on loan for the Zarya youth team. It has become more reliable. It’s true that the opponents also replaced their main players. Let’s not forget about another 2006 defender, Maxim Korobov.

Matvey Ponomarenko works with the first team. In the first half, Vitaly Lobko played at the forefront against the Swiss. After the break, Evgeniy Korol took his place. Both didn’t look very convincing. Forward Vladislav Gerich was absent. He hasn’t played since mid-autumn due to injury. Now I started working with a physical trainer.

One of the leaders of the autumn part of the season, Roman Salenko, also missed the sparring. He has microdamages. Roman should return to the general group in the near future. Central midfielder David Bely has recovered from injury. This is a player born in 2006. He didn’t play much in the fall. Finally, goalkeeper Yuri Avramenko recovered and came on in the second half. This 2005 goalkeeper has excellent anthropometry – 2 meters tall. The Kiev team lacked competition and depth in this position in the fall.

It is clear that the team is working under physical stress, but was able to put pressure on the opponent for two halves and play first. It is worth noting Kirill Pashko. “New Tsygankov” was distinguished by his individual actions on the field. This is really a completely different player than the one he was at the beginning of the season. In addition to additional confidence, Kirill has matured significantly physically.
