“Dynamo” crushed “Polissya” in a duel of the 25th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). The match at the Valery Lobanovsky Stadium in Kyiv ended with a score of 3:0.
Oleksandr Shovkovsky’s team took the lead in the 32nd minute of the match – Vladislav Vanat realized a one-on-one with the visitors’ goalkeeper after a pass from Andriy Yarmolenko.
At the start of the second half, the “white and blue” strengthened their advantage – in the 52nd minute Mykola Shaparenko from the entrance to the penalty area sent the ball into the far “nine” with a beautiful shot.
In the 63rd minute, the Zhytomyr team remained in the minority – Vasyl Kravets earned a second yellow card for bringing down Vitaly Buyalskyi in front of his own penalty area.
The people of Dynamo took advantage of their numerical advantage and brought the matter to a rout. At the 77th minute Buyalskyi hit an empty net after a gross mistake by the Zhytomyr defense.
