MOSCOW, 9 August. /TASS/. Dynamo Moscow defeated Krasnodar 4:3 in its home field in the second round match of the group stage of the Russian Premier League (RPL) Fonbet – Russian Cup. The meeting took place at the VTB Arena.

As part of Dynamo, Daniil Fomin (31st minute, penalty), Vyacheslav Grulev (35, 67) and Arsen Zakharyan (90+6) scored goals. Krasnodar scored Nikita Kravtsov (41), David Moses Cobnan (47) and John Cordoba (77, penalties). In the 45th minute, the guests’ midfielder Ilzat Akhmatov failed to convert a penalty.
Dynamo and Krasnodar play in Group D, their rivals in the quartet are Spartak Moscow and Paris Nizhny Novgorod. Earlier on Tuesday, the red-whites beat Paris HH 5-4.
The first place in group D is occupied by Spartak, which has 6 points. Dynamo is second (4 points), Pari NN is third (2), Krasnodar is in last place (0). In the next round, Dynamo will play Spartak on the road on August 29, while Krasnodar will play away against Pari NN on the same day.
