After the last game, which took place on Sunday in Poltava against Vorskla, Alexander Shovkovsky’s team is traditionally preparing for the next match at their club base in Vita-Litovskaya. Since Monday, the “white-blues” have been working in one-time training mode.
Due to the busy calendar of games (Dynamo will have to play three matches in 8 days), the team’s classes are somewhat lighter, with an emphasis on working with the ball. On Tuesday, training began with theory, after which the players took to the field. The part that took place on the street lasted about an hour and a half. It should be noted that several players from the Dynamo youth team were involved in working with the main team.
First, Alexander Shovkovsky gathered the players in a semicircle and announced the work plan. The training, as usual, began with a short jog and warm-up. The coaching staff offered the players an exercise under which they could only touch the ball with their heads, as well as score. And after five accurate passes, the goal was counted as two. The football players got down to business with special passion, perseverance and pleasure. Each goal scored was accompanied by emotional exclamations and approving comments. The game turned out to be intense, at some point the score was 3:3, which made the exercise even more interesting.
Next, the players divided into several groups to play various combinations, work on ball possession, passing, and connecting to attacks from deep within the field. We also paid attention to tactical schemes, in particular, actions in attack and defense.
The training ended with practicing the completion of attacks, in particular passes to the flank and subsequent crosses into the penalty area.
On Wednesday morning, the players will have a theoretical lesson, lunch and rest, after which our team will hold an evening training session and will spend the night at the base on the eve of the match.
As before the previous match, on the day of the game, after breakfast, the players will gather for a pre-match setup for the game and go to the Dynamo stadium. V. Lobanovsky, where the fight will take place. Let us remind you that the match between Zarya and Dynamo will start at 15:30.
