Indeed, this is only possible in Dresden. Already during the game, the dynamo fans could be heard loud and clear. After the game, the team thanked them – and they celebrated it as if they were promoted and not relegated.
There were so many fans that even the tram had to stop working for a short time. People wherever the eye just looked, it was overwhelming. Absolutely exceptional.
Anyone who can still remember 2014 knows that on the last relegation the team didn’t have much time to leave the city. Now she was celebrated, also as a thank you for the – ultimately hopeless – struggle of the past four weeks.
