David Kubatta is in the second row at Dynamo Dresden. He is all the more pleased about his debut goal against 1. FC Saarbrücken.
Dresden – That was rehearsed: Robin Meißner (25) chipped the free kick into the penalty area, Vinko Sapina (29) headed the ball to the far post, where Dmytro Bohdanov (17) headed the ball back, David Kubatta (21) ran in and made it 1-1 from three meters in stoppage time. “My best Dynamo moment so far,” grinned the goalscorer.

Somehow logical, because it was only the second league game appearance for the summer newcomer from Viktoria Köln – and the first with a bang. “I only had to push it in from three meters,” he said about his debut goal in black and yellow.
“Although, you have to do that first,” he scratched his beard. Many people have already put one of these over the roof. Luckily for Dynamo, he didn’t.
The 21-year-old came into the game in the 85th minute alongside Dmytro Bohdanov. Both played a key role in the equalizer. “The coach said we should try everything, throw ourselves into everything, apply pressure again. That worked well,” said Kubatta.

Dynamo grades: Only one can really convince against Saarbrücken
“Of course I’m happy about my goal. But I have more of a group idea in mind. It’s good that we were able to equalize,” he said, not wanting to focus too much praise on himself.

It certainly did him some good anyway. He hasn’t had a chance to play that often. In the summer, quite a few people asked themselves what Dynamo wanted with him given the large number of defenders.
“I’ve already noticed some of it. It doesn’t really matter to me, it doesn’t interest me much,” he said on this topic.
“I’m still a young player, I’m still in the process of maturing. I have to stand at the back, have to apply pressure. I handle it in a relaxed manner, always give it my all, push myself, want to recommend myself to the team. If the coach is a good one If I have a feeling, then he’ll throw me in too,” said Kubatta.

Thomas Stamm (41) had that on Saturday shortly before the end. He returned the trust. For the first, but certainly not the last, time.
Table 3. League
The table of the 3rd league has the following meaning: Whoever is in first place at the end of the season is the third league champion and is promoted to the 2nd league. The second one also rises directly. Third place plays with the third from last place in the 2nd Bundesliga for promotion or staying in the league.
