Dynamo Dresden versus Darmstadt 98: broadcast of the 2nd main round in the DFB-Pokal
All the games in the second main round of the DFB Cup will be shown on pay TV, while only two of the 16 matches will also be broadcast on free TV. Later in the tournament, more of the games are freely available: For example, three games in the eighth and quarter finals as well as the semi-finals and the final.

Football live on December 22nd, 2020: Dresden and Darmstadt in the DFB Cup
Dynamo Dresden was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga last season – but is currently the league leader in the 3rd division. It’s not only going well in the third division, but also in the first round of the DFB Cup against the
HSV convinced the team: Dresden swept Hamburg off the field with a clear 4-1.
Dresden’s opponent Darmstadt plays like HSV in the 2nd Bundesliga. The club played in the Bundesliga from 2015 to 2017 before going back to the 2nd division with the last place in the table. Since then, the Darmstadt team has not been able to fight their way back to the top. The Hessian team also struggled against third division Magdeburg in the first round of the DFB Cup: In the end it was enough for a narrow 3-2 win.
Neither team has made it into the final of the DFB Cup so far – a victory in the tournament would mean the first cup victory for Dresden and Darmstadt.
