The year 2022 could end costly for Dynamo Dresden…
After the match riots in Bayreuth on 1 October (reported by BILD), damage in and around the stadium amounted to 31,300 euros. The “Nordbayerischer Kurier” reports this with reference to a damage list of the city of Bayreuth.
During the game, rioting broke out in the Dresden blockade. Guest toilets were destroyed and a snack stand was destroyed and stolen. 14 people were injured in clashes with the police.
In addition to the reparations to the city of Bayreuth, Dynamo is threatened with further financial compensation. Managing director Jürgen Wehlend estimated the material damage in the demolished special train at “more than 50,000 euros”.
