Belek. Third division football team Dynamo Dresden ended the first test match as part of the training camp on the Turkish Mediterranean coast with a draw in Belek on Saturday. At the facility where the Black and Yellows usually conduct their training sessions, coach Markus beginning’s professionals drew 2-2 with 1. FC Magdeburg. The game against the second division team did not last 90 minutes as usual, but 120 minutes. Both coaches wanted to give as many players as possible playing time. However, Manuel Schäffler, Paul Lehmann, Tobias Kraulich and Lucas Cueto did not take part in Dynamo due to minor injuries. Team manager Justin Löwe was ready just in case, he had received a guest appearance permit from SC Borea.

Dynamo is already leading 2-0 thanks to Kutschke and Lemmer
Dynamo essentially started the game with their usual regular formation from the league. However, as expected, Kevin Broll was in goal instead of the injured Stefan Drljaca, Lars Bünning played in central defense for Tobias Kraulich, who was not yet fully fit, and Kyu-Hyun Park took his place as left-back. FCM coach Christian Titz initially left ex-dynamo Ahmet Arslan on the bench and only started with the other ex-Dresden player Baris Atik.

Dynamo took the lead early on through captain Stefan Kutschke. After winning the ball in midfield, the striker surprised FCM keeper Noah Kruth, who was positioned too far in front of his own goal, with a long ball from a good 35 meters in the 8th minute. Kruth still ran back, but only caught the ball when it was already behind the line. Then Tom Zimmerschied could have made it 2-0 in the 18th minute. However, the Koblenz player got stuck with Kruth after a pass from Niklas Hauptmann. The second goal could have come a little later, because Hauptmann was clearly fouled in the penalty area, but the referee allowed play to continue (20th). The same thing happened to Luca Herrmann four minutes later, and the referee’s whistle again remained silent. Otherwise little happened in the first 45 minutes; Magdeburg had a lot of possession but couldn’t get through to the front. Little Atik scolded his teammates a lot, the German-Turk remained playfully pale and seemed very dissatisfied.

Dresden’s second goal only came in the second half of the game, which was again scheduled to last 45 minutes: Jakob Lemmer was responsible for the 2-0 lead. He played through to a free kick quickly taken by Paul Will and then marked the goal. 54 minutes had been played and the FCM fans who had arrived were already pretty angry. “Relegated, relegated!” a few Dynamo fans chanted maliciously. Magdeburg’s professionals didn’t have much of an idea; it wasn’t until the black and yellow replaced all players except for Broll after a good hour that the Magdeburgers, who were now kicking with Arslan, became stronger. Arslan also had the first real FCM chance with a long-range shot, but Broll fended off the powerful shot (69.)

Ahmet Arslan equalizes for FCM to make it 2-2
The Magdeburgers, who traveled from Side, 40 kilometers away, and who tested twice during their training camp, equalized in the third period of the game – another 30 minutes were added. In the meantime, Erik Herrmann played for Broll in goal; the Lausitzer came on as a substitute after the second break.
