This weekend the matches of the next, 11th round of the Ukrainian Championship among Premier League clubs of the 2023/24 season are taking place. In one of these matches, on Sunday, October 22, Dynamo will play Dnepr-1. The start of the meeting, which will take place in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valery Lobanovsky, is at 17:00.

Before the head-to-head meeting, Dynamo and Dnepr-1 are neighbors in the standings of the current Ukrainian championship. The Kiev team is now in eighth place with 15 points in the asset and three games in reserve (the “white-blues” played seven games in total). The guests also scored 15 points, but played eight matches, and additional indicators allow the Denpryan team to be in sixth place.
In the last championship, matches between Dynamo and Dnepr-1 ended with different results. At the start of the tournament, the Dnieper team defeated the Kiev team with a score of 3:0, and in the second round the “white-blue” managed to take revenge – 1:0. Both meetings took place on neutral fields: the “white-blues” hosted their opponents in Lviv, and the Dnipro team in Uzhgorod.
In the last round, Dynamo became the author of the main sensation of the tour, losing away to Zhytomyr Polissya with a score of 2:3, and Dnepr-1 confidently beat Rivne Veres at home – 2:0.
The main referee of the Dynamo – Dnepr-1 match will be Viktor Kopievsky from Kropyvnytskyi. Also on the mat, the VAR video assistance system for referees will be used under the leadership of Maxim Kozyryatsky from Zaporozhye.
