The nightmare is over: After serving a yellow card suspension for allegedly complaining, Dynamo coach Markus is allowed to stand on the sidelines again at Freiburg II at the beginning (48) of Saturday (2 p.m.).
He suffered in the stands, but did the sanction have any effect?
“Basically, you can always ask yourself whether you need to control your emotions better. That’s what I did,” says Anfang.
However, the coach sees a problem: “In Mannheim I got yellow because I coached my players. It’s hard for me to change that.”
Was Mark beginning meaning: Gesticulating is simply part of getting to the pros at all! “If you want to reach a player in a full stadium, keep your hands in your pockets and call out, that won’t work,” said the SGD coach.
Kind of makes sense. Just like the fact that he cannot and does not want to lead a wallflower existence on the sidelines.
“I’m a coach who lives and loves this game. Got this passion in me I can’t sit on the sidelines and wait for the final whistle,” explains Anfang.
That’s why he makes it absolutely clear: “I won’t change my way of being a coach. No referee in the world will be able to do that…”
Dynamo extended with Scholz, Grahé and Löwe
Meanwhile has Dynamo tied three men from the initial support staff to himself.
With assistant trainer Heiko Scholz (57) and athletics coach Matthias Grahé (54) was extended by one year, team manager Justin Löwe (24) signed a new three-year contract until 2026.
“I am very happy that we will continue on this path with Scholle, Matze and Leo. You can see how much all three are passionate about the club, not only in their daily work on and off the field, but also far beyond,” says sports director Ralf Becker on the contract extensions.
Becker is determined: “You are the perfect person for your position.”
