Dynamo aiming for re-emergence? “Will have big goals”

Markus Kauczinski looks ahead! The Dynamo Dresden coach wants to tackle the next season with the right mix.

Dresden – In the last second division game for the time being SG Dynamo Dresden it’s all about saying goodbye on Sunday (3:30 p.m.) with a win against Osnabrück. Nobody believes in a miraculous jump to 16th place anymore.

“We scored 30 goals. Now should we score eight, nine, ten, eleven, fourteen goals? No, nobody believes that,” said coach Markus Kauczinski at the press conference before the game.

His main focus is on this game against the promoted team from Osnabrück, but he is already looking ahead.

Because that’s exactly what Kauczinski wants to be in one year: promoted! “We will have big goals to tackle the resurgence,” answered the 50-year-old when asked what his squad should look like for the coming season.

He wants a mixture of different things, “You need experienced people who can form the backbone to which you can orient yourself.”

He adds: “But also young, talented kickers, maybe also loan players. You need a certain physique, there should be good football quality.”

It is also important for the coach: “You have seen that we need physical assertiveness. We want to have a certain character, with people who fit in with this environment. A team with which you can identify. What is important for me, one absolute conviction, heart and passion for Dynamo must be present, “said Kauczinski, how he imagines his new team, which should aim for the re-emergence.

Perhaps some whose contracts end on Tuesday will get another chance against the boys from Bremen Bridge on Sunday.

Those who haven’t been on the train that often in the past few weeks. There they could show themselves, help shape their own future.

“I don’t know who is playing yet. I can start eleven, I can change five times. I will not be able to do justice to everyone. But for me, victory is the most important thing,” said the SGD coach.

The injured Dzenis Burnic (ankle), Justin Löwe (shoulder), Alexander Jeremejeff (torn muscle fiber) and Kevin Ehlers (muscular problems) as well as the red-locked Chris Löwe cannot definitely be used.

Simon Makienok is still questionable.

“It’s always with him. He hasn’t trained at all, still has ankle problems. We have to see,” said Kauczinski.
