According to the developers, the upcoming big game Dying Light 2 will take about 500 hours to complete. In any case, if you want to cope with everything the game will have to offer.
It is probably far from everyone who manages their games to 100 percent. Anyone who wants to take on that challenge in the upcoming Dying Light 2 will, however, have a real challenge to tackle.
According to the game’s developers, it should take about 500 hours for players to complete just about all the missions and challenges the game will offer. However, it is not as brutal to manage the main campaign. This, together with a bunch of completed side missions, will require less than 100 hours of the player.
UPDATE:
500 hours is related to maxing out the game – finishing all the quests, endings, and exploring every part of the world, but a regular player should finish the story + side quests and do quite a lot of exploring in less than 100 hours, so don’t worry! ???? https://t.co/4R641zkLpg— Dying Light (@DyingLightGame) January 8, 2022
Exactly what the game will be filled with that requires five times as long to tick off the to-do list as the main campaign remains to be seen. At the time of writing, it has not been confirmed whether these are mostly actual missions or whether they are simply small challenges and similar pick-me-ups that usually get some focus from players.
Dying Light 2 will be launched on February 4. This after the game has been delayed on more than one occasion. Initially, the game was intended to be available sometime in early 2020. A launch window that was obviously not possible for the developers to keep if the game would reach the level where it feels comfortable to launch it.
