Dying Light 2 is, even according to ours reader surveys, one of the most anticipated games of this year. So far, it is almost certain that new information about this title, which was originally supposed to be released in the first quarter of last year, is on the way, as the official Twitter account Dying Light recently confirmed this information in response to the question whether everything is okay with the game. .

So, although there is a chance that it will be released by the end of this year, two other major developers have left its development in the past few days. One is the artistic director and the other is the screenwriter Pawel Selinger, who was called the main screenwriter by many magazines after the departure of Chris Avellon. Unfortunately, it was not possible to verify whether this was really the case. However, it is known that Selinger was involved in the development of the game from the beginning and thus helped Techland establish a clear vision.
It is worth noting that he published a Polish magazine after the first postponement PolishGamedev a report according to which there were to be considerable quarrels in the studio between screenwriter Chris Avellon and creative director Adrian Ciszewski. According to this report, the story and game mechanics were constantly changing during development. But a few weeks later, after being accused of inappropriate behavior and sexual harassment, Avellone left the studio.
We can only hope that the game will turn out well, after all, all the shots from the game published so far looked really impressive. However, Dying Light 2 has no release date yet.
The game has been announced for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4 and PS5.
