Paulo Dybala was reported to be close to Inter Milan. However, Inter in the process stopped pursuing Dybala until the player finally joined AS Roma.
Dybala is on a free transfer this summer after his contract was not renewed by Juventus. The Argentine player was then linked with a number of clubs, one of which was Inter.
Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and Director Piero Ausilio have already entered into negotiations with Dybala and his agent. Reportedly, Dybala only has to sign a contract.

When Dybala’s transfer was not completed, Inter signed Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea. Nerazzurri then withdrew from the hunt for Dybala.
“No, not at all,” Dybala said when asked if he felt like he had been betrayed by Inter Milan.
“Since my contract with Juventus ended, my agent spoke to many teams and you speculated all kinds of things. I have a good relationship with (Inter CEO Giuseppe) Marotta,” continued the Argentine player.
“Many teams had contact with me, at one point the General Manager (Roma Tiago Pinto) came to Turin and things changed,” said Dybala.
Paulo Dybala finally join AS Roma. The 28-year-old has signed a three-year contract.
