Tammy Abraham failed to score AS Roma win over Fiorentina, but made two assists for Paulo Dybala. It considers it as a receivable.
AS Roma won 2-0 at home to Fiorentina at the Olimpico, Monday (16/1/2023) early morning WIB in continuation Italy League. Superior in the number of players since Dodo’s red card in the 24th minute, Roma scored two goals from Paulo Dybala in the 40th and 82nd minutes.
Dybala’s two goals were made thanks to Tammy Abraham’s assist. The two of them can be said to have switched roles this time, because normally Dybala is the creator for Abraham who is the type of opportunity finisher.
But for Abraham, this is actually an opportunity to explore further potential from him. That he can also be a goalscorer, not just a goalscorer.
Moreover, this season he is struggling with goals. From 24 appearances, the 25-year-old striker has only scored five goals while scoring four assists.
“I saw myself learning the other side of the game today. Usually I want goals, but today I made an assist. I’m happy for Paulo and now he owes me two assists,” Abraham told DAZN quoted Football Italia.
“Every day we learn from each other. We had a break when he went to the World Cup, but now we are back together, train every day together, learn from each other, and hopefully it will be something good in the future,” he added.
