“Dwayne Johnson to Return in Fast and Furious 10 Despite Previous Claims of Leaving the Franchise”

Surprise! Dwayne Johnson is returning to star in the new Fast and Furious movie, despite previously revealing that he’s done with the franchise.

According to a report from The Wrap, Johnson’s name appears in the end credits of Fast X. However, “Universal Pictures” refused to comment on this news.

What makes Dwayne’s return so shocking? That’s how adamant Johnson was about not returning to the franchise! The actor once even swore that there was no chance of Hobbs returning to the main franchise. Why is it? Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel have been feuding since 2016. “Kinolente” already reported that in November 2021, Vin Diesel published an “Instagram” post in which he publicly invited Johnson to rejoin the beloved film franchise.

A month after Diesel’s social media call, Johnson called Diesel’s move a manipulation, criticizing Diesel for making a public call on social media after the two had already reached an agreement in private.

“I was very impressed with Vin’s recent record,” Johnson said. “Last June, when Vin and I spoke privately and not through social media, I told him directly that I would not be returning to this franchise. I was adamant, but my words came from the heart. I have always been confident that the franchise is and will be successful , but there is no way for me to go back. I have spoken to my partners at Universal, they all support me because they understand the problem.”

Neither Johnson nor Diesel have yet commented on whether their dispute has been resolved! But whether or not the decision marks an official end to the seven-year public feud, it does show that all parties understand Johnson’s “Fast Saga” is a win-win scenario.
