St. Louis blues Prospect Dvorsky Dominates at World Juniors
Despite Slovakia’s quarterfinal exit from the 2025 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, St. Louis Blues prospect Dalibor Dvorsky left an indelible mark on the tournament. The 19-year-old forward from Zvolen, Slovakia, concluded the competition as a top scorer, solidifying his reputation as one of the brightest young stars in the game.

Only Richard Panik (15 points) and Ernest Hornák (12 points) have scored more for Slovakia in the tournament’s history.
The tournament also saw another Slovakian player make history. Thanks to an assist on Thursday, defender Maxim Štrbák claimed the top spot on the all-time assists list with 14, surpassing the previous record holder, Réway, who had 13.

While a nine-point performance in just five games is impressive,I think those who’ve followed his career saw this coming.

Peter Vlk: It puts him right at the forefront. Scoring 10 goals and 10 assists across multiple junior tournaments is no small feat. He’s already third all-time in Slovak scoring at the World Juniors, and he’s just 19 years old. The sky seems to be the limit for him.

Peter Vlk:I believe Dvorsky has the potential to be a true star in the NHL. He has all the tools to be a top-six forward: the shot, the playmaking ability, the size, and the hockey IQ.Of course, adapting to the NHL game takes time, but his work ethic and determination suggest he’s up for the challenge.I think Blues fans have a lot to be excited about with this young man.
