The Dutch singer Do (40), best known in Flanders for the hit ‘Heaven’ from 2002, says that he was also a victim of Jeroen Rietbergen (50) in the Dutch press this weekend. The former band leader of The Voice of Holland and ex-boyfriend of presenter Linda de Mol, would have been guilty of sexually transgressive behavior with the singer 20 years ago.

“He then did things to me that I said then: Dude, you’re just cuckoo, you don’t do that, do you? But there was a different balance of power, because I hired him and was not dependent on him,” says the singer. “What he did was not okay, but after I confronted him about it, he never did it to me again.”
Rietbergen was not the only one who crossed the line. “I once worked with a producer, when I was a minor, who said to me: Maybe you should start singing naked. Then you feel it much more† I didn’t, luckily.”
Do also has the duet at 22 Past recorded with Marco Borsato. Borsato is accused of indecent assault. Do finds it difficult to make statements about this. Besides, she doesn’t know him very well, they never worked closely together.
