On an abandoned construction site in the northern Italian city of Vigevano, the body of a missing Dutch woman has been found today. It concerns the 40-year-old Sara Ahmed Lemlem, a Dutch engineer originally from Ethiopia. The Italian authorities had been looking for the woman since early december.

The body of the Dutch was found this afternoon by a group of workers in the elevator shaft of a building under construction, just a few minutes walk from her house. The cause of death is not yet known. The police are still keeping all scenarios open and say they are waiting for the results of the autopsy, Italian media write.

The woman went missing on Saturday, december 4 after she was said to have voluntarily left her home in Vigevano after an argument with her partner.
