Dutch police find phone of murdered Ichelle (Antwerp)

The Dutch police have found the mobile phone of the murdered Ichelle van de Velde in a waterway near Aardenburg in Zeeland. Together with specialists from the Netherlands Forensic Institute, the police are investigating whether data from the device can still be secured, the police said on Wednesday. The main suspect in the case is the exiled Antwerp woman, Sandra H.

Ichelle van de Velde from Oostburg disappeared on December 15. After the police found traces in the car of the Belgian prime suspect Sandra H., the first parts of her body were found on 16 February. The suspect has a shop in Oostburg, only a few buildings next to the victim’s business. Later, the last remains of the body were found. H. denies that she killed the woman from Oostburg.

The investigation team of the Dutch police is also looking for a green backpack from the brand ‘Trapper Adventure’. It also belonged to the victim.
