In recent decades, many Dutch trainers, technical directors and players have been active in Russia and Ukraine and several Russian professionals have also played in the Eredivisie. How is the Russian invasion of Ukraine viewed on both sides and is this the beginning of a protracted period of distance as all kinds of ties are resolutely severed?
