Dutch patrol car crashes during pursuit, suspect was able to flee | Inland

The accident happened when two Dutch patrol cars from Arcen (Limburg) chased a car with a trailer that was probably stolen shortly before. The thief tried to escape by fleeing across the border with the trailer. But due to the slippery road, the trailer skidded and ended up perpendicular to the roadway. The first patrol car chasing was able to avoid a collision, but the other was unable to turn due to the slippery conditions and collided with it.

As a result of the collision, the trailer got stuck between the patrol car and a traffic light at an intersection, causing the trailer to come loose. The suspect was therefore able to continue the flight unhindered with his car and has since been missing, according to the German police.
