Dutch owner Blokker Belgium in court for fraud Financial

Dirk Bron (59) from Waddinxveen bought more than a hundred Belgian stores from Blokker Netherlands at the beginning of this year. Shortly after the takeover, De Telegraaf revealed that he was a fraud suspect in the Netherlands at the same time and had even been detained for several days before that.

His phone was also tapped, allowing investigators from the Hague police unit to listen in on his telephone conversations about traffickers in tens of thousands of Björn Borg boxer shorts from Turkey, which were paid in cash.

“All nonsense”

Bron initially claimed to know nothing about the aforementioned suspicions to De Telegraaf. Meanwhile, he says he has acted in good faith and hopes of good parentage: “Most of what is being charged to us is all nonsense.”

The Public Prosecution Service accuses Bron of falsifying a lease, embezzling a batch of sports shoes that he never paid, evading sales tax when selling pans and gambling assets.
