Amsterdam – For the first time since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, a Dutch war volunteer has been killed. The 55-year-old Ron is said to have died in Ukraine on Wednesday, May 4. The man had joined the Ukrainian Foreign Legion and was hit by artillery fire near Kharkov. A Dutch volunteer who served with Ron in the same unit reported that he died immediately after the shelling.
