Dutch informant Kim Putters believes that the latest discussions with the leaders of the parties PVV, VVD, NSC and BBB have led to results. The next step in the formation of a new Dutch government can now be taken, Putters said after two days of talks on the Zwaluuwenberg estate in Hilversum.

“I am now ready to draw conclusions and write my report. I will do that tomorrow,” Putters said on Tuesday evening.
In recent days, the four party leaders met in Hilversum for the first time since Omtzigt walked away from the formation talks with the previous informant Ronald Plasterk.
Afterwards, the party leaders themselves did not want to say much or anything about the past few days. According to Omtzigt, ‘a lot of hard work has been done’. Van der Plas spoke of ‘very good conversations’ that were ‘certainly positive’.
