The Dutch pilots saw the opponent as dots far away, while the sensors of the F-35 scanned the aircraft. The formation of three flew from the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad towards Poland, but remained just within the boundaries of international airspace. The Dutch F-35s had to watch out if it stayed that way. The Russians were unreachable by radio and had no escape plan. Is that a provocation?
