Good news for people with a F1 TV-subscription: the Dutch commentary will return to the streaming service of the royal class in June. The report is provided by Allard Kalff, Nelson Valkenburg and Melroy Heemskerk, the commentators who can currently also be heard at Viaplay, as can be read on the FAQ section of the website of F1TV.
In previous years, Olav Mol .’s commentary was always heard on F1 TV, but after Ziggo Sport lost the Formula 1 broadcasting rights to Viaplay, he also disappeared from the tube there. At the Swedish streaming service, the commentary is provided by Nelson Valkenburg and Melroy Heemskerk, but the Dutch duo report was not an option at first. Users could choose from commentary in English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Earlier this year there were rumors that the Dutch commentary would be available again from June, but it never became completely official. It was also unclear who would provide the commentary. It is now known that the commentators of Viaplay (Allard Kalff, Nelson Valkenburg and Melroy Heemskerk) will also provide the report for F1TV, at least for the Dutch viewers.
