Dutch coach Eric Ten Hag, coach of Manchester United, spoke about his team’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season.
Manchester United is in sixth place in the English Premier League standings with 48 points, 11 points behind Aston Villa, the fourth-placed qualifier for the Champions League next season.
Ten Hag said in television statements: “I set goals for the team before the start of the season, and therefore I will suffer disappointment if we do not qualify for the Champions League.”
He continued: “I know that it is very difficult because we are not in a good position, but we will continue fighting until the end.”
He concluded: “I ask the fans to be patient with the team. We are on a good path and on the right track, and we need to take the next steps.”
