sport">Bol won the 400 meter hurdles at the Diamond League in Stockholm last month. She ran a time of 54.68 in Sweden. Earlier in August, Bol took bronze in the 400 meters in the highly regarded Diamond League match in Monaco.
sport">After her successful race in Rome, the youthful Bol said that she still thinks it a bit strange that she is participating in the seniors this year. “Participating in the Diamond League is something I’ve always dreamed of. This year I did it and also with great times, so what more could you want? ”

Klaver wins 400 meters with a personal record
sport">Lieke Klaver has impressed the 400 meters at competitions for the Diamond League in Rome. The 22-year-old athlete from Enkhuizen triumphed in a time of 50.98 seconds. She also ran a personal record with that. Her old top time was 51.39.
sport">Lisanne de Witte is still the Dutch record holder at this distance. She clocked a time of 50.77 in 2018.
sport">Clover was delighted with her Diamond League triumph. “Great, what a race,” she exulted. “A victory with a personal record, that’s so cool. And that also in the last race of the season. Afterwards I didn’t realize it at first. Did I do this? I thought. I am really proud of myself now. ”
Nadine Visser was also successful in Rome.

Visser rushes to victory at 100 meters hurdles
sport">Following Bol and Klaver, Nadine Visser has also achieved a victory in Rome. The North Holland athlete triumphed in the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 12.72. The Italian Luminosa Bogliolo finished second in 12.83 and the American Payton Chadwick finished third (12.89).
sport">Visser put down a special ‘double’ at the NK in Utrecht at the end of last month. After the Dutch title in the 100 meters, she also conquered the gold on her specialty, the 100 meter hurdles.
Duplantis unofficially jumps world record in Rome
sport">The Swede Armand Duplantis won the pole vault with a jump over 6 meters and 15 centimeters. It is the highest jump ever in the open air. Only Duplantis itself did better, last winter in room (6.18). That achievement remains the official world record.
sport">So far the highest jump outside has been from Sergei Bubka. The Ukrainian jumped 6.14 meters in 1994.
