The minister says he receives a bunch of letters with proposals for pandemic management: in theory, the ideas sound good, but they don’t take root in practice.
“During this time, I have received and listened to many suggestions. Every bidder imagines that his option of how to solve everything in Lithuania and how everyone will get vaccinated here is very clear to him until we start implementing it in practice (…) Maybe we will be judged wrong, but I have faith: if we manage to control the pandemic and we will all come out of it all together, the time will come when we will be forgiven, ”the Minister hopes.
Among the letters sent to the politician are messages condemning the “anti-taxi” movement – wishing them death.
“I get letters asking why to throw taxpayers’ money and spend so much money on mobile groups, tents, weekend work: let those people die if they like it. There is a group of people who think so, ”says the Minister.
