The Meteorological Authority has issued a warning regarding the activity of winds that stir sand and dust in a number of areas now.
And the meteorology said, in the notice, a short while ago: the activity of exciting winds of sand and dust on the northwestern coasts (Alexandria – El Alamein – Burj Al Arab) and areas of the Western Desert, accompanied by a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility.
It is expected that the aroused sands will extend inland with the progress of time, affecting areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt.
Alexandria: Visibility 5000 meters.
Burj Al Arab: Visibility 1,500 metres.
It is preferable for patients with sinus and chest allergies to wear masks while going out.
