Dusseldorf: Suspect knife stabber from the subway was identified Regional

Düsseldorf – It was a bloody argument in the U73s in which an 18-year-old was stabbed. The police searched for the stabber using images from the Rheinbahn surveillance cameras. On Tuesday, a man was visited by the police.

Flashback: Saturday around 4:40 p.m., two young people (17/18) are sitting in the U73 and watching funny TikTok videos on their cell phones. The later perpetrator was obviously disturbed by this. According to the police, he is said to have racially insulted the two.

Then he pulled out a knife and stabbed the 18-year-old in the upper abdomen. The young men escaped from the train at the Bilk S-Bahn station. The teenager was taken to a hospital – luckily there was no danger to life.

The Düsseldorf police set up a murder commission, looking for the perpetrator, who is said to have boarded the U73 (direction Uni-Ost) at the Schadowstrasse stop and left the Rheinbahn at the Uni-Kliniken stop.

On Tuesday, the police reported: “The suspect has been identified. It is a 45-year-old Düsseldorfer from Wersten. This morning he was visited at his apartment and his personal details were taken. The search of the apartment led to the discovery of further evidence.”

Now is determined because of the suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. Due to a lack of grounds for detention, he is at large.
