Düsseldorf A man hit a 67-year-old in the face extremely brutally at Düsseldorf Central Station. Previously he had tried in vain to get money from her. Now the federal police are looking for the man with photos.
Between an unknown perpetrator and a traveler (67) there was dangerous bodily harm and insults at Düsseldorf Central Station. The man is now being searched for with photos from a surveillance camera.

The woman was waiting at 3:38 p.m. on February 23, 2022 at the main train station for the regional express 13 on platform 4 towards Venlo when an unknown male person sat down next to her and asked for money.

When the woman refused to give him any money, the man verbally abused her. Shortly thereafter, he got up and suddenly hit her in the face with his fist. He was probably wearing a ring on his finger during the blow, with which he hit and injured the 67-year-old. After the unknown man had left, the shocked woman got on the train. She later reported the incident to the police.

The district court in Düsseldorf has now ordered a public search for the unknown suspect for dangerous bodily harm. The investigators have the following questions: Who knows the person in the pictures? Who may have become aware of the fact?
