how Sport1 reports, Fortuna Düsseldorf is very interested in Antonios Papadopoulos. The central defender from Borussia Dortmund could therefore be drawn to the 2nd Bundesliga in the summer for a fee in the low six-figure range. Fortuna had already thought about the 22-year-old in winter.
Due to Dortmund’s lack of personnel, Papadopoulos (actually Borussia Dortmund II) has already been in the squad a few times. The defender was even allowed to play in the first round of the DFB Cup against SV Wehen Wiesbaden (starting XI) and on matchday 1 against Eintracht Frankfurt (short term).
It looks like Papadopoulos, who still has a contract with BVB until 2023, will set up camp elsewhere from the coming season.
