Center player Lennart Boner took responsibility and kept his team in the game with important counters

A win after it didn’t look good at the start of the game. Because the guests started weak in the game. Bernau got off to a much better start and presented himself accurately (9: 3). The giants were too hesitant and left the enemy too much space. The LOK players took advantage of this and led to the end of the quarter (28:16).

The picture continued and the scoreboard in the Erich-Wünsch-Halle in Brandenburg quickly showed 37:20. A lack of yield from beyond the triple line contributed to the deficit of the Düsseldorf team. A change of tactics and the attempt to succeed over the big positions finally showed success. Center player Lennart Boner took on responsibility and kept his team in the game with important points (39:28). Boner proved to be the driving force in the offensive game of the giants, who were able to shorten the game to 47:41 at half-time.
