Düsseldorf: 787 new corona cases, incidence 558.1 – Ddorf-Aktuell

vaccinations

For anyone over the age of 16 who is interested, the city of Düsseldorf offers corona vaccinations without prior appointment booking. These vaccinations are only possible in the “vaccination center 2.0” at Bertha-von-Suttner Platz behind the main train station. It’s open on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. The offer of the vaccination mobile and the vaccination center at the Heinrich-Heine-Allee underground station is currently no longer available.

The vaccination can also be given to children/adolescents between the ages of 12 and 16 accompanied by their parents without an appointment. Before all vaccinations, there is a detailed consultation, during which the vaccine used is also determined. Various vaccines are available. The recently approved Nuvaxovid vaccine is also vaccinated in the “vaccination center 2.0” at the main train station. In addition, general practitioners, paediatricians and company doctors as well as pharmacies vaccinate.
The booster vaccinations are recommended for everyone whose second vaccination was more than three months ago and are also administered at the two stationary and mobile stations.

Vaccination appointments for children between the ages of 5 and 11 can be booked via the city’s telephone hotline (0211-8996090), which will be carried out in the vaccination center.

The city of Düsseldorf started the first vaccinations on December 27, 2020. According to the municipal vaccination center, which determines the values ​​from medical practices, vaccination centers, decentralized vaccination centers and mobile teams, 1,542,081 vaccinations have already been administered in Düsseldorf, of which 981,213 were second or booster vaccinations (as of June 10th).

PCR-Tests

The municipal test site at the Mitsubishi Electric Halle has moved. The tests have been offered at the vaccination center at Bertha-von-Suttner Platz 1 since the end of May. The tests are still possible from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mobile tests for people who cannot leave their home environment due to illness or mobility will continue to be offered from Monday to Saturday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Since March 4, 2020, 264,595 swabs for PCR tests have been taken by the mobile teams and in the diagnostic centers at the Mitsubishi Electric Hall via the municipal diagnostic centers. This number also includes the swabs carried out in old people’s and nursing homes, refugee and homeless shelters.
