Düsseldorf: 305 new crown cases, incidence 312.7 – Ddorf-Aktuell

The number of Düsseldorf residents who currently tested positive for coronavirus and reported to the health department was 255,433 on Saturday (November 5), 305 more than the day before. The so-called 7-day incidence (number of new cases in the last 7 days per 100,000 inhabitants) for Düsseldorf is 312.7 (321.7 the previous day). The NRW Ministry of Health indicates 11,600 as the number of infected people in Düsseldorf. 167 people are currently being treated in hospitals, 16 of them in intensive care units. For anyone interested over the age of 16, the city of Düsseldorf offers corona vaccinations without advance booking. These vaccinations are only possible in the “vaccination center 2.0” at Bertha-von-Suttner Platz behind the main train station. It is open on Fridays from 8:00 to 22:00. Vaccination can also be done to children / adolescents aged 12 to 16 accompanied by their parents without an appointment. Before all vaccinations, there is a detailed consultation, during which the vaccine used is also determined. Various vaccines are available. The recently approved Nuvaxovid vaccine is also vaccinated in the “vaccination center 2.0” at the main train station. They also vaccinate general practitioners, pediatricians and company doctors as well as pharmacies.

Vaccination appointments for children between the ages of 5 and 11 can be booked via the city telephone hotline (0211-8996090), which will be made at the vaccination center.

The city of Düsseldorf started the first vaccinations on December 27, 2020. According to the municipal vaccination center, which determines the values ​​of doctors’ offices, vaccination centers, decentralized vaccination centers and mobile teams, 1,616,552 vaccinations have already been administered in Düsseldorf , of which 1,050,379 were second or booster vaccinations (as of October 28, 2022).

PCR test

The municipal test site at Mitsubishi Electric Halle has moved. Tests are offered at the Bertha-von-Suttner Platz 1 vaccination center from the end of May. Rehearsals are still possible from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 16:00. From Monday to Saturday (9:00 am to 4:00 pm) mobile tests will continue to be offered for people who cannot leave their home due to illness or mobility. Quick test dates can be agreed online at www.corona.duesseldorf.de/schnelltest. There are numerous quick test stations listed throughout the city. Anyone with symptoms of illness should contact their family doctor directly or call 116 117. From June 30, the citizen’s tests are no longer free and a personal contribution of 3 euros is charged.
