It is noted that Durov was charged and placed under legal supervision. He was given a bail of 5 million euros and was also ordered to report to the police station twice a week. Durov is banned from leaving France.
One of the charges against Durov relates to participation in the management of an Internet resource that allows illegal transactions (he faces up to 10 years in prison – ed.).
He is also accused of refusing to provide information or documents when requested by competent authorities, as well as being involved in crimes including drug trafficking, organized fraud and providing cryptographic services.

On Saturday August 24, the founder of Telegram Pavel Durov was held in France. As stated in France, he is suspected of crimes related to money laundering, terrorism and fraud.
